STM Lottery is proud to announce its sponsorship of a solar panel installation project at Yayasan Sunbeams Home under its Helping Hands community initiative. This effort marks a significant milestone in the company\u2019s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community well-being.<\/p>\n
The solar panels were successfully installed at the boys\u2019 dormitory of Yayasan Sunbeams Home on 20 January 2025. The project was officially launched at a special ceremony attended by Mr. Giam Say Khoon, General Manager (Communications & Sustainability) of STM Lottery, and Pastor Alvin Tan Ooi Seng, Founder of Yayasan Sunbeams Home.<\/p>\n
Yayasan Sunbeams Home currently houses 91 children from diverse backgrounds, providing them with care, education and support in a safe and nurturing environment. With the newly installed solar panels, the home is expected to save approximately RM340 per month in electricity costs. These monthly savings will enable the home to allocate more resources to the welfare and development of the children.<\/p>\n
