In the true spirit of Chinese New Year, STM Lottery Sdn. Bhd. proudly continued its long-standing tradition of giving back through the 38th Sports Toto Chinese New Year Ang Pow Donation Campaign. This year, the initiative reached over 19,000 underprivileged elderly individuals across Malaysia, spreading warmth, joy, and festive blessings.<\/p>\n
The campaign was officially launched on 16 January 2025 at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, in a touching ceremony officiated by Y.B. Ms. Lim Hui Ying, Deputy Finance Minister. Also in attendance was Ms. Nerine Tan, CEO of Sports Toto Berhad, who reaffirmed the company\u2019s unwavering commitment to social responsibility and compassion for the elderly.<\/p>\n
In her opening address, Ms. Nerine Tan expressed her pride in continuing this cherished tradition: \u201cThis campaign is more than an act of giving. It is a celebration of care, compassion, and community \u2013 values that are at the heart of STM Lottery and our Helping Hands programme.\u201d<\/p>\n
This annual initiative aims to ensure that no needy senior citizen is left behind during the festive season. Each recipient received a traditional ang pow along with a mini festive hamper \u2013 symbolizing not only financial assistance but also a heartfelt gesture of respect, care and remembrance.<\/p>\n
