Sports Toto Supports Berjaya Recycling Day Programme

Sports Toto successfully collected 460 kg of recyclable waste during the launched of Berjaya Recycling Day Programme on 18 September 2020 by Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan, Executive Chairman of Berjaya Corporation Berhad.

The Berjaya Recycling Day Programme is a monthly recycling day event which will be held every 3rd Friday of the month. The programme is a collaboration between Berjaya Corporation and Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia and all proceed raised from the sale of recyclable items will go towards Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia’s charity project, “Kita1Keluarga” which is to assist needy Malaysian families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sports Toto Communications Dept. would like to thank all the volunteers and HOD for successfully supported the programme by contributing various recyclables items that include papers, carton boxes, aluminium cans and PET bottles. We have equipped three new recycle bins at CCTV common area as part of the ongoing Berjaya recycling program and hopes that it would encourage staff to
continue recycle.

Let’s play our part in reducing waste in landfills and at the same time doing charity for a good cause.
