STM Lottery Plants 40 Trees for Sustainability

STM Lottery expanded its sustainability efforts by collaborating with Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) to plant trees.
A team of 20 staff volunteers including Executive Director Ms. Nerine Tan visited FRIM and planted 20 trees at the man-made forest located in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur on 26 February and 4 June 2022 respectively.

STM Lottery planted 40 trees this year which is also in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 15 to “protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, and halt biodiversity loss”.
