Lion Dance Blessings at Berjaya Times Square KL

A lion dance performance is undeniably an essential part of the Chinese New Year celebrations. It is not just because of the lively, energetic and powerful moves of the lion dance which is really captivating, but also its cultural significance as well as the traditional
belief that it brings good luck and fortune.

As part of the annual tradition, a lion dance troupe comprising 8 lions, put up a fascinating performance at the Boulevard of Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur on the fourth day of Chinese New Year i.e. 4 February 2022.

Berjaya Corporation Bhd. Non-executive Deputy Chairman Dato’ Sri Robin Tan and STM Lottery Sdn. Bhd. Executive Director Ms. Nerine Tan officiated the lion dance performance and blessing ceremony. On the same day, the lion dance troupe was also arranged to visit all the offices of Berjaya Corporation group of companies based at Berjaya Times Square as a gesture of blessing the companies with prosperity and good luck in the Year of the Tiger.
